week 2 of wholesome harvest csa spring share and i am loving it!
this week we got some of the same things as last week and some new additions as well!
- green leaf lettuce
- green oak leaf lettuce (new!)
- scallions (new!)
- swiss chard (new!)
i’ve already cooked up the leeks and chard and used the lettuce and scallions in a big salad (the same one i posted on monday – yum!).
the asparagus will be steamed or grilled with dinner tonight and the rhubarb is going to be made into a galette <-– ashley posted that recipe at the perfect time!
only thursday and our produce is almost gone. maybe we should have gotten a full share….
which veggies would you be most excited about this week?
asparagus wins again for me, which swiss chard being a close second!
