i had a lovely friday night to myself.

i snuggled the pups, did laundry, worked on my knitting skills (i figured out how to identify a knit and a purl stitch – yay!), got a little crafty, drank wine, and watched many episodes of weeds.
saturday, i drove back to my hometown for a giant packers party at my mom’s house!

the outcome of the game was a bummer, but the party was a blast.
yesterday was a slow day after the festivities the night before, but i did manage to get to the gym (!). i am determined to accomplish my january goal of going more days than i don’t.
things on the schedule this week:
- bodypump + zumba
- getting passports
- making enchiladas
- my seafoam core kit for project life is coming
- a fun pizza date with friends
it’s going to be a full one.

Looks like you had a fun weekend! I was disappointed in the outcome of that game too. As well as the other game with the Seahawks and falcons :\

How was season 7 of Weeds? I kind of fell off the series after season 6 (I think – the whole Mexico storyline with Pilar really did me in.), but I heard it started to get good again.

I feel like Weeds got better the last season (was that 8?) but there was a while in there that was not nearly as good as the first few seasons in my opinion.

AHH learning how to tell knit from purl stitches was honestly one of the biggest things that I feel like there is to learn. It makes it much easier to tell where you are in a pattern if you get lost, and it makes it easier to go back and fix things sometimes. Yay!
Knitting date soon???

Getting passports?!?!?!
Also, I really am in awe of how devoted you are to goal setting (and achievement!) I love that you are making monthly cards for your ‘word of the year.’
Please come be my craft advisor. Thank you.
