morning #2 of project get up early to work out was a major fail.
i set my alarms last night, got all of my workout stuff ready, and went to bed early.
somehow, i managed to either sleep through or turn off without fully waking up both alarms.
i woke up without an alarm around my normal wake-up time and didn’t make my scheduled gym time.
afternoon workout, here i come! on today’s schedule is a 3rd strength workout from tina’s bootcamp plus some cross training.
last night i was poking around in our junk closet looking for the charger for my ipod shuffle. it’s dead & i have no clue at all where the charger went.
anyway, the closet isn’t really full of junk, it just ended up being the closet where we put everything that doesn’t have an obvious place anywhere else.
it’s also the home for all of our kitchen appliances that don’t fit in our kitchen cabinets: quesadilla maker, ice cream maker, crock pot, etc.
sometimes i go “shopping” in there to find things i haven’t seen or used in a while…
while i was in there last night, i found this guy!
my mom “won” this dehydrator during a white elephant gift exchange over the holidays and gave it to me since she already has a dehydrator.
it lived in brad’s car for a couple weeks after the holidays because we didn’t ever bother to carry it inside. then, when we finally managed to bring it in the apartment, it got stowed away in the closet.
i pulled it out last night, cleaned it up, and am ready to use it!
i just don’t know for what…
i’m thinking cheesy kale chips are a must since i can’t burn them by using a dehydrator instead of the oven!
and you know i’m going to finally make some crackers with our juice pulp instead of throwing it away!
there’s going to be a lot of dehydrating going on in our apartment this weekend – i can’t wait!
