good morning!
so far sunday is off to a decent start. i’ve got a second load of laundry going, i’m on my second mug of coffee, and am enjoying a delicious green smoothie.
thanks for all of your comments and suggestions on my posts on why i’m giving up dairy and last night’s ramble about my stupid wasted day.
i like to keep things positive around here, though. so how about a round of 7 things sunday with a “things that are making me happy” theme.
1. my little porch garden!
i love watching my plant babies grow and taking care of them!
2. the office.
i watched a lot of the office last night. 
it always makes me laugh!
3. how awkward capone gets when we put his harness on him.
he hates it! but since he’s such a stinker and can slip his collar off if he wants to, we have to use the harness on walks. silly puppy!
4. my new-ish camera bag!
i’ve actually had this baby for over a month, but i don’t think i’ve mentioned it on the blog yet. i love being able to safely bring my big camera with me without having to lug an extra (ugly) bag around!
5. jake and capone.
last night jake flopped down right in front of capone in the perfect pose for a brother photo shoot!
6. this drink.
it’s my summer favorite! birthday cake vodka (three olives), diet sierra mist, a splash of cherry juice, and a couple cherries. yum!
7. devil’s lake.
i’m not sure when we’re going hiking there next –> hopefully next weekend! it’s one of my favorite things!
there. how can writing that list not put me into a good mood?

omg Capone in his harness is hilarious! And that drink sounds RIDICULOUSLY good!!! I need to assemble those ingredients.

yes! it’s my favorite drink combo right now. the birthday cake vodka is so tasty. some of my friends think it’s too sweet though – just fyi!

i usually put berries in my smoothies, so they’re rarely green even though they almost always contain spinach!
