right now…

…looking forward to a night away with my husband this weekend – we’re spending a night at a b&b!

…reading everything i can get my hands on! right now i’ve got 2 books in progress and about 15 in queue.

…painting my nails a new color a couple times a week. i blame julep!

…catching up on project life. i spent a couple hours finishing weeks 3 and 4 last night. i’m so close!

…listening to glee. oh so much glee! i downloaded a couple albums and have been listening to it on my ipod during mindless tasks at work.

…excited to see west side story next week. i’ve never see any type of “real” musical, so i can’t wait.

…eating lots of seafood! brad randomly got an amazing deal on a super high-quality seafood package recently and we’ve been loving it.

…loving my job. seriously. i find myself getting so involved in my work that i don’t realize it’s quitting time. it’s pretty great.

…feeling the urge to simplify. but fighting my knee-jerk reaction to donate all the things.

…enjoying life.

…drinking a glass of malbec a few nights a week. i feel like such a grown up having just one glass of wine to unwind. haha. my college self doesn’t even recognize my 27-year old self.

…appreciating those memories of my college self and the happy times i had, but…

…thankful that those days are behind me. i love right where i am.

there are some bloggers that i can’t get enough of. they just seem to “get it” and i’m always excited for a new post from them.

elise is one of those bloggers. i love her creative projects and photos. [maybe it has something to do with the fact that i am not very creative or artistic, so i admire what i cannot do?]. every month she does a post called currently, which seems to act as a snapshot of what is happening in her life at that moment. i love the idea and am trying it out for myself!
