this was the most intense project life layout i’ve ever put together.
i blame the ridiculous amount of photos that i wanted to include from our san francisco trip. i thought about doing a separate hardcover album from shutterfly or a mini project life album for the trip, but i really wanted the photos to be in my regular albums with the rest of the year. so i sucked it up, printed out planning sheets, and spent almost 3 hours editing and re-sizing photos to make sure i’d have what i wanted for the album.

dates covered: january 21-28
what happened this week: my 27th birthday & our san francisco vacation!

products used: mostly photos and ephemera from our trip. i did sneak in a couple cards from the seafoam kit and the january studio calico project life kit, but that’s about it. i also used persnickety prints to print the photos. i really wanted them to be high quality and i don’t always love how the photos i print at our local walgreens turn out, so i splurged a bit. it was totally worth it. i also used tons of inserts this week – 1 horizontal 5”x7” insert, 2 design i pages, 1 design h, 1 design j, and 1 design b.

techniques used: lots of inserting text on photos before printing this week. i knew i was going to fill up those pockets with mostly photos, so i didn’t want to have to use those spaces for journaling cards. i also printed one 12”x12” photo and then cut it up to fill one entire design a page. that’s the last page of this layout and i love the effect.

i apologize for the photo overload, but i am pretty much 100% in love with how these pages came out. hooray for successfully documenting an amazing vacation!

Wow, this one IS seriously intense! Turned out really good though. I love the picture you took of yourself in Brad’s sunglasses
Great job getting all the pics in! Love the use of the various inserts, but especially love the full page spread of the 12×12 photo! Happy 27th!
