hello hello & happy monday!
i am feeling about a million times better than i have in a while. i think a lot of that is thanks to a low-stress weekend with my extra special visitor…

we were home all weekend and got to spend lots of time with our mom and other family, too. it was perfect.
today i am definitely back to reality (and ridiculous amounts of soul-crushing stress…), but i would like to delay that for another 15 minutes and share my latest project life spread with you all!
this layout is from monday, october 1-sunday, october 7.

i didn’t have a whole lot of photos from this week to choose from (thanks to doing not much other than sitting at my computer & working…), but i like it!
there are definitely every-day moments that are worth capturing, even on an uneventful week.

for the date card, i stamped a plain sheet of cardstock (from the 4×6 solid cards – clementine edition) and then stamped the date on a circle cut out of craft paper. simple simple!

i also added my october goals from my blog post – it seemed appropriate in the october 1 layout.
i did one other fun “new” thing this week and used one of the free quote card downloads from becky’s site.

i loved this “hello everyday life” card and thought it fit well in this week.
i also had to use this quote this week.

we love the decemberists and as soon as i heard this song on pandora, i printed the quote out!
the other side of the layout is a little less exciting for me.

i used two journaling cards as well as another quote print-out. i printed this for one of the small frames in our office and accidentally made the margins too small. i didn’t want to waste it, so into the album it went!

this page also got a photo of our tasty csa cherry tomatoes, a picture of capone, and one of me with my new scarf!
this was my 4th week and i am hooked even more each layout!
especially right now, when i have so much on my plate, this is the perfect fun thing to squeeze into my couple hours of me-time each week.

who would you pick to be your extra special visitor if you could fly someone in for a visit right now?
obviously, i’d bring my sister back! i can never get enough time with her.

You and your sister are just adorable! I’d totally fly my sister out to see if I could right now!

ahhhh! another decemberists fan.
have you ever seen them in concert? that was the last concert i went to (over a year ago already – geez!). we are HUGE fans of them.
Beautiful layout. Love the Decemberists quote. If my sister weren’t 30 minutes away I would probably fly her in. Luckily all my special someones are pretty close. I wouldn’t mind flying with my sister to a special someplace though.
thank you cerise!
you’re so lucky to live so close to your sister! i miss being able to see mine anytime i want.
