so, i’m feeling pretty crappy this weekend.
but just because i’ve spent that past two days in bed, feeling like crap, doesn’t mean you can’t have some fun.
i think a giveaway is the perfect solution to cheer me up, so it’s a win-win.
the best part?
the giveaway is from one of my favorite companies ever…larabar!
i’m sure you’ve seen larabars pop up all over the blog in the past. they’re my favorite favorite favorite grab & go snack! plus, they’re made with the simplest ingredients ever, and they’re NOT grain-based. hooray!
anyway, the lovely folks at larabar sent me a couple fun flavors to try.
i love them all.
lemon bar & cappuccino were my favorites out of these four. i still think peanut butter cookie & cashew cookie win as my all-time faves though.
this giveaway is now closed – thanks to all who entered.
congratulations to the winner – number 19 – johanna k!
johanna, please email me at learningsarah[at]gmail[dot]com by monday, july 23 to claim your prize!
they also generously offered a box of 16 assorted larabar flavors for one sarah learns reader.
[um, can i enter my own giveaway?!]
so here’s the deal. just leave a comment on this post telling me the last time you turned a negative into a positive. or just one good thing about your day. or you favorite larabar flavor. or a joke.
pretty much anything (appropriate) goes.
i’ll pick a winner on tuesday.
good luck!
now i’m going back to bed…
full disclosure: larabar sent me some bars to try. as always, all opinions expressed are my own.

I love the coconut cream pie!
Cappuccino because I’m a coffee-fanatic – I drink it from dawn to dusk!
I have never tried Larabar, but would love to! Today I rocked an 8 mike run. Working towards my 1st Half, even after my Ortho and Chiro said I would never run! (bad back)
The peanut butter and jelly is probably still may favorite. Feel better soon! I love using a little sick downtime to catch up on TV and watch corny comedies.

Fav is Cappuccino!!! My neg into a positive is this … after quitting the fitness business, going through menopause, getting a knee replacement and gaining a lot of weight I am back on the road to fitness. It feels so good to start losing weight and getting fit that it almost worth the wight gain. Almost!
Hope you feel better soon! Good thing about my day–I played tennis with my husband and had a lot of fun!

Good thing about the day was treating myself to some shopping, a haircut, & some Pancheros!
I’m feeling crappy today too! Booo
the best part of my day though? My boyfriend’s home from work to snuggle
feel better missy!
I’m a big fan of Larabar, the chocolate based flavors are my favorites! Although I might have to give that lemon a try….

Great thing about today was my Saturday trip to the Union Square farmer’s market. White russian kale, sugar plums, and fresh cherries are now in my fridge (and stomach). YUM!

My favorite flavor is probably the Apple Pie, or the Peanut Butter Cookie. But, I’ve never tried one that I didn’t like!
oooo me me me! pick me me me! I love them all… i want to come over and lick them all!
Friend, I hope you feel better soon!
I’ve never tried the Cappuccino flavor before – sounds AMAZING!

I LOVE the Larabar Über apple turnover flavor! But I’ve only ever had the blueberry muffin flavor original and didn’t like it, so I’d love to try some new flavors!
I love the chocolate pb one.
Aww… hope you feel better soon. Larabars are a staple in my grocery cart, so a box of 16 would be like saving $20 on my next shopping trip – brilliant! My favorite is the hard to find Tropical Fruit one, with the Cherry Pie in second.

My favorite flavor is Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip!
Love love love cashew cookie, blueberry muffin and chocolate cherry torte! One larabar a day is a must for me! As far as turning around a not-so-fun day, going for a run and/or listening to music typically work for me to help get me out of my funk! Feel better!
I love the cookie dough lara bars!!! Hope you are feeling better!!

Yummy!! My all time fav is def. cherry pie, but lately banana bread has been right up there. These are the perfect bars for bringing to work and munching on when there’s time!

When my sister saw a 16ish year old boy run off with my new wedge shoes I thought positively of him dressing in drag and looking hot!
Larabars are my favorite traveling snack. On a recent flight, I had the chocolate chip cookie. I have only tried one flavor I don’t like.
Hope you are feeling better!

Chocolate Chip Cherry Torte is my absolute favorite… although I pretty much love all flavors of Larabars! Definitely my favorite brand of bar because I can always identify all of the ingredients. And a good yoga class always turns a negative day into a positive one. The quiet meditation at the end of a yoga class always puts me in a good frame of mind.

I’ve never tried a real larabar before but I’ve home made ones from scratch! I’d love to try the lemon bar flavor though or the cashew one!

I might be too late, but I love peanut butter and jelly. Manatee says that it tastes better than a pbj sandwich.
Let’s see negative into a positive, making lemon curd after peeling 15 lemons for limoncello. Not quite making lemonade when life gives you lemons, but maybe even better.
