i will have this wine cellar.
ok, not this exact one, but one just like it.
on christmas eve, we went to brad’s aunt and uncle’s house for appetizers and drinks before moving to his grandma’s for dinner and presents.
i was pumped to be starting at todd & heidi’s because i wanted to see their wine cellar again. they put an addition onto their house a while ago and added a wine cellar and bar that i am incredibly jealous of.
you start upstairs with their bar which has a tv and an awesome bar top with a cool wine cork design under a glass top (no close up, but it’s so cool).
then you head down the spiral staircase to the wine cellar.
heidi has wine-themed decor everywhere.
inside the wine cellar is this perfect little table just asking me to uncork a bottle of wine and sit down for some girl talk!
and then the amazing racks of wine…
they go on and on. i would have so much fun filling my own up with wine from fun vacations or friends around the world!
so yep. some day when brad and i win the lottery and build our dream home, this is going to the top of the list right next to my hot tub and dream kitchen!
*****
what is one thing you would want in your dream home?
i’d also definitely want a big fenced in backyard for capone and jake to play in! maybe then i could convince brad that we need yet another dog!

This the first time I’ve clicked over from google reader and seen your new site. I love it!! It looks fantastic.
That wine bar is lovely, but my dream home wouldn’t need one. I would want a killer kitchen with lots of light and space. I’d also love a backyard with a outdoor kitchen and nice seating area.
thanks michelle!
an awesome kitchen and great outdoor space is definitely important to me too. an outdoor kitchen sounds like fun, but i can’t imagine getting much use out of it for much of the year here in wisconsin!
Oh. My. God. That wine cellar is amazing! I want one just like it!!

i love wine decor too. and i know – isn’t it seriously the PERFECT in-home wine cellar. i could live in it.
I love that wine cellar! My dream house would definitey have the following: a wine cellar, a game room with bar, a pool & hot tub, a workout room, and a steam shower. I might just have to work a little harder if I want any of these to come true!

At first I read that as this IS your wine cellar and almost died of envy. In my dream home I want one below the kitchen with a clear glass cut out door thing and a spiral staircase leading down to it. (Saw it on Pinterest, of course.)
