who’s ready for a giveaway this saturday morning?!?
if you’re not ready yet, i’ll bet you will be once i’m done telling you about chike nutrition’s high protein coffee drink.
as soon as i heard about this product i was intrigued – a protein drink that also has coffee in it? sounds good to me!
i received 5 sample packs plus a blender bottle to review.
this drink has:
- 130 calories per serving
- 20 grams of whey protein per serving
- only 2 grams of sugar per serving
- 2 espresso shots (note—> it contains caffeine!)
but more importantly, it tastes good! brad and i both tried it and really enjoyed the flavor. we’re both big fans of coffee, so we drink it like an iced coffee – yum!
another thing i love about the chike nutrition coffee protein drink? you can mix it with water and it mixes well and still has great flavor! i’ve tried some protein powders in the past that are seriously gross if you only mix them with water. i have to make them into smoothies to stomach them. that’s all great if i want a smoothie for a meal’s worth of calories, but i like that this can be a small snack if that’s what i’m craving.
if you want more information on the coffee protein drink, check out the chike nutrition facebook page (and give them a “like” if you feel generous!) – they have more information up there.
you guys know that i like to share the love on the blog, so i try to only do reviews when i can share some of the product with you.
this time, three sarah learns readers will win a chike nutrition blender bottle and 5 sample packs of the coffee protein drink!
thanks to everyone who entered. this giveaway is now closed. the winner has been announced in a separate post.
to enter the giveaway:
1. leave a comment on this post telling me your favorite coffee drink. (mandatory entry)

I’v never heard of this stuff before… but I need it! With all my training and trying to get 150g of protein in, adding it to my morning coffee would be perfection!

Anything with caramel in it! Or vanilla. Or…amaretto.
As a vegetarian, I’m always looking for interesting ways to add protein.
…oooo….Almond milk with ice and some chocolate!
This looks delicious. Better than my normal at-home iced coffee with almond milk but less indulgent than my occasional iced caramel macchiatto!
Skinny vanilla latte!
Anything with COFFEE and maybe chocolate!
I love iced coffee with half and half and a bit of sugar.

Just black coffee unless I’m feeling fancy! Then I add stevia and almond milk!
This sounds interesting. I’ve tried pre-mixed protein shakes that are some sort of “coffee” flavor, but it’s not the same as making your own fresh coffee with milk. I’ll have to see if they carry it at the local VitaminShoppe. I tweeted about this giveaway first!

I love making iced coffee at home with almond milk and vanilla stevia!
Yum, this sounds great! My favorite coffee drink is a home made double shot (espresso + milk + 1/2 & 1/2 + touch of sugar over ice)!

I drink iced coffee almost evey moment mixed with almond milk! I make a big pot every week and keep it in a pitcher with a spigot on the bottom for easy pouring.

If I’m feeling indulgent, I like a coffee frappaccino with light whipped cream. If I’m in need of caffeine, I go with an iced coffee with coconut milk and vanilla stevia.

my favorite coffee drink of late is from J Watts Barista House –
golden gate blend + coffee ice cubes [the best part about getting iced coffee from J Watts is that it never gets watered down!! They have an ice machine making coffee cubes
] + almond milk + Toasted Marshmallow flavored syrup. YUM!!!

Coffee is the best brewed at my house with a little bit of milk! I’d love to try this new protein drink!
My favorite coffee drink has to be a frappachino on a HOT day. Nothing beats it when it’s 100 degrees and you’re run down. Thanks for doing this giveaway!

My favorite coffee drink is iced coffee.
My favorite barista at Starbucks came up with a low-carb Frappuccino that I adore. It’s made with heavy cream, two different sugar-free syrups (mocha and vanilla) and a smaller amount of the light base and weighs in at 20 grams of carbs. A little high, but not out of the question.
