as i mentioned yesterday, january was a very good month for me. in my opinion, something that contributed greatly to that was my goal-setting. i focused on what was important to me at the beginning of the month, and set my goals based on that. since i kept my momentum going instead of trying to set goals in places where i wasn’t feeling inspired, i kicked my january goals’ butt!
i’m not going to do a point-by-point recap, but i’d say i get a 9/10 for january.
and, as is the way things go, i’m already on to february!
as part of the one little word class i’m participating in this year, we set monthly intentions for ourselves based on our word. in february i chose to connect with my body, so i chose my goals to be somewhat related to that.
i’m already off to a good start. i’ve got a big jar of juice in my lunchbox for breakfast and my morning workout is happening today!
february is going to be a good one.

instead of setting resolutions in 2013, i am setting monthly goals. this post explains why. i am also doing elise’s self-paced i choose course from big picture classes this year to become more effective with my goal setting. i’ll post my goals at the beginning of each month to keep myself accountable.

I need to choose to spend my time more wisely too. I am about to finish up my teaching license and really need to buckle down and just get it done without distractions (aka blogging, Pinterest, Facebook, the Internet in general.) I wish I had a juicer and I would juice every day too
Sounds amazing. Good luck with your goals this month!

Good for you for achieving so much success in January, and for using that beautiful kind of connectivity to keep you moving forward. As always, I am impressed by your ability to set goals for yourself. I need to set a goal to set goals.

Love your February goals! Plus, they sound a little bit like good advice for everyone this time of year
