on sunday brad and i joined 4 of our other friends to go hiking at devil’s lake!
two of them are travelling to china in the next couple weeks and they wanted to break in their new hiking gear and camera.
we got to devil’s lake around 11am and it was so foggy! we headed to our hike around the lake anyway. by the time we finished up, around 3pm, the sun was out and there were tons of families picnicking and hanging out down at the park.
here are just a few of the many many photos i took that day. i can’t wait to go back on a more sunny day!

I love Devil’s Lake!!! My parents live about 1 mile away, so we try to go for a hike every time I’m home!

so many fond memories of that place!! [including one time I tried to rock climb in the dark. with gear and stuff. and a guide who was holding on to my rope thing. it went poorly. but there was a lot of laughter.]

Love Devil’s Lake! We went two summers ago and it was my first time visiting. We even got to witness a sweet proposal while we rested on a rock.
