this year was the first time i participated in december daily. i had seen some of my favorite bloggers create some amazing albums capturing the holiday season for the past few years, so i finally decided to do my own for 2013.
when i started, i had grand plans to update my album weekly through the month of december, but after week 1, that didn’t happen.
instead, i had a marathon december daily day on saturday and completed almost my entire album in one sitting.
those items plus my photos were more than enough to create my album. i have tons of supplies left over!
when i started on the album, i was kind of stuck, so i used a lot of ali’s ideas for creating the album cover & the first few pages. after i got into a groove, though, my scrapbooking style definitely came out: lots of photos, a few embellishments, and a bit of journaling for most days.
instead of giving a big description of what i did for each page in my album, here is a big photo dump of some of my favorite pages (i guess it’s a good thing that almost all of my pages are my “favorite”?). if you have any questions about what i used or did on a layout, feel free to ask in the comments!
have you ever created a december daily album?
i love the idea of having one album focused on a very specific event or period of time. one bummer about this, though, was that i felt like i had some repeats in my project life album for december. i guess that’s ok though. december daily is way more detailed than project life for the holiday season, so it evened out.
