a new coffee table for our basement. finally. that has been on our list since we moved into our house back in august.
also, the bound copies of my dissertation arrived in the mail this week. graduate school feels like it was so long ago. now i have to go back to campus to bring copies to my old department. that will surely be a surreal experience. the books arriving also reminded me that i need to just bite the bullet and submit that last nagging paper. must. find. motivation.

I love that color blue on your wall! I also saw your pic of your dissertation and showed to REB and said, “This will be you and you’ll have your name on bound books of your dissertation in 5 years.” He laughed. I wasn’t trying to be funny :\ lol. Anyway, so proud of you, girl!!

P.S. I started reading Hopeless a few days ago because you recommended it earlier on your blog! It’s a pretty easy read since I’m more than halfway done at this point and I totes predicted “the twist!”. So angst-y indeed!

Wow, VERY impressive! I can’t even fathom writing that much…a 6 page paper in college could kill me! Lol You must feel so proud!
LOVE your wall of photos! And the “Z” is awesome!

this is going to sound *so* random, but I’d love to read your dissertation! (congrats on writing it, by the way – such an accomplishment!) i’m really, really interested in the effect of physical activity on academic performance and psychological functioning.. your title def caught my eye!
..also, your picture wall is super cute!

I love everything about this post! I can’t even decide which part I like best. Either the gallery wall. Or your dissertation (!). Or your new coffee table. Or all of it
