good morning!
who is ready for their weekly dose of seven things?
i think i am.
(i’m a little tired this morning, so bear with me…)
ok, after writing the rest of this post, i feel the need to warn you about the ridiculous amount of dog photos in this post. i’m sorry. i guess i don’t have much else to tell you about this wek. sorry.
or you’re welcome.
1. there was some vandalism or something going on at our apartment on friday night. i woke up to hear someone calling the police from the main entrance (right by our bedroom wall…). so of course, me being the nosy person that i am, got out of bed and slooooowwwwwwlllly opened our patio door & peered out. just in time to see police cars come zooming up and at least 4 teenaged kids sprint away from our building and into the backyards of our neighbors.
i’m not sure exactly what happened, but the huge panel of class in our apartment’s main door was shattered, so i am assuming that had something to do with it.
i also saw one of the police officers walking with one kid in handcuffs.
that’s all i know.
i laughed at myself the next morning though. sneaking out and eavesdropping/spying on the situation seems like something an old grandma would do.
2. i’ve been adding a new product to my smoothies lately.
maca powder!
i saw lori & michelle post a video a while ago about some of the diet changes they made to try to help their skin. i’ve been struggling with some pretty bad acne problems for the past year, so i thought i’d try it out!
so far, i can’t really notice a difference, but i haven’t been good about using it regularly if i don’t have a smoothie for breakfast. i think i’m just going to have to start having smoothies every day.
3. jake is a slightly ridiculous dog.
i end up cracking up half of the time when i take a picture of him, or play with him, or just talk to him.
i took this picture of him the other night.
does anyone else see what i saw in the picture?
remind you of anything?

i immediately thought of this seinfeld episode and could not get it out of my mind.
does anyone else see the resemblance? or just me?
4. i don’t have much for you today, so here’s a peek into a typical thursday evening for me.
working at the computer and getting puppy kisses. <3
5. i’ve been debating with myself about whether jake looks so ridiculous in this picture that it’s cute or if it’s actually kind of ugly.

6. poor capone isn’t as crazy, so i don’t have any weird or silly pictures of him this week, but i love this picture i got of him recently.
such a handsome boy, isn’t he?!
i love this one too. (through the screen door…). he has such a cute happy smile!
