happy easter! i hope you are all able to enjoy this day and spend some time with your families!
i am taking the day off from blogging to enjoy my family’s easter celebration. i did, however, write a 7 things sunday post for you all ahead of time since i missed out on the fun last weekend!
it’s been two weeks since the last one so it’s going to be even harder for me to stick to just seven things.
i’ll try though.
1. instagram finally has an android app!!!
seriously guys, you don’t even know how long i’ve been waiting for this.
ever since i switched from at&t to u.s.cellular (aka iphone to droid) last october, i’ve been saying how much i love my droid and it’s awesome for syncing to gmail & other google products, but the one thing i really missed was instagram.
and it’s finally here!

2. why does making a wedding album take so long? i’ve been working on ours on and off for far too long.
every week i get a new notification in my email reminding me to finish my book (i’m doing it on shutterfly thanks to a group deal a couple months ago).
my problem is that i envision it being so beautiful and awesome, and then when i try to make my vision happen in the book, i get frustrated and it doesn’t look right. so then i have a temper tantrum and quit for a couple weeks.
it’s a bad cycle.
but my group deal expires may 12 so i have approximately one month to finish it.
3. i finally saw the hunger games movie!
i went by myself because i got the urge to go in the middle of the day and didn’t really have time to make any plans.
anyway, i loved it! i thought it was very true to the book. of course some details were missing in the movie, but that was to be expected. the only thing i was surprised about was how quickly the actual games seemed to go by in the movie. i guess it’s been a while since i read the book, but i remember the games being longer.
4. the same day i saw the hunger games, brad and i decided to go see american reunion that evening.
we both really liked the american pie movies in high school, so we knew we wanted to see the newest one!
honestly, i really liked it! it was exactly what i expected it to be. i really liked that they had so much of the original cast back in the movie too. i don’t think i would have enjoyed it nearly as much otherwise.
5. i did a little spring cleaning a couple weeks ago and while i was going through our pantry, i set two rules for myself.
no more buying tea or granola until i use up what i have.
seriously, how did i accumulate so much of this stuff! snack bars are definitely on that list too – i have a container filled with at least 30 of them. so unnecessary!
i am cutting myself off.
6.i had to buy a business suit this week….
i am sooooooooo not a business suit kind of girl.
7. speaking of that business suit. the next two weeks are going to be a little crazy for me with school-related stuff. i have to give a pretty important seminar on the 19th (hence the suit) and there is a lot of preparation that still needs to be done for that.
so, if i’m not blogging daily (or at all), don’t be worried. i’m here, just focusing on something else at the moment!
