best of best body bootcamp, week 5

i missed updating you all on my workouts last week, but i’m on top of it today!

week 5 of tina’s bootcamp was killer… of course. i feel like i’ve said that every week! week 5 is the first week of phase three, which means that we got new workouts to begin on monday.

one of my favorite changes from this week’s workouts are the circuits. workouts b and c consisted of 10 different moves each that were to be done in a circuit – each move for 40 seconds and then rest for 20 seconds (a gymboss trainer would have been helpful for these!) and then the whole circuit was repeated 2 more times.

whew!

both of them left me feeling like jello.

i also love the flexibility of the bootcamp workouts. i was supposed to do workout d + some h.i.i.t. yesterday, but i woke up with the urge to run!

so i did. :)

i set out with jake and capone and we did 2.5 miles. then i dropped capone off because he was being a punk – he pulled his collar off 3 times! ugh. – and jake and i went out for 1.75 more miles plus a little walking cool down.

i felt awesome and energized after this run!

so did jake. he was very energized afterwards. he wasn’t tired at all! i bet he could have gone for another 4 and still be feeling good.

anyway, it was another great week of bootcamp and race training!
